Have a 392 with a 671 blower running 4-6 lbs of boost, have a joe hunt electronic rewired to run a msd 6 ignition control. My question is which one would be better for the street driven blower, a msd 6-al or the msd 6-btm, the difference between the two is the btm allows you to retard the ignition timing 1-3 degrees per lb of boost ? There is a big difference in cost between the two and if the 6-al would do for the street it would help my pocket book which is getting mighty lean. All input is appreciated.
