Which Dual Quad Carbs for 392 Hemi?

I am currently rebuilding a 392 hemi. It will be mainly for the street, with the odd weekend race with the nostalgia group up here in Canada.

I have the Weiand 7263 manifold for a dual quad setup.

Which carbs are people running and/or what do you recommend?

Any assistance would be welcome.

Thanks,

Joe

BTW, I had to put spacers under the carbs for the linkage to clear the intake manifold. I belive it was the linkage on the passenger side that was the problem. I just went to the parts store and got the thick heat insulating type gaskets for the carbs, they were about 1/4" thick.

I ran two Edelbrock 600's with progressive linkage on my 392 and they worked great. Had to do a little tuning with the accelerator pump squirters (went up one size on each carb if I remember right) and that was it. With the progressive linkage and 3.23 gears in my Cuda I got 15 MPG on the interstate running 75 MPH.
