choosing new cam?

I have a 331 hemi 56 industrial block with about 9to1 60 over pistons. The heads are 51 heads with HH 2'' valves, springs etc and adjustable push rods. The car is a 31 Dodge coupe about 3100 lbs with me in it. The transmission is a 700r4 (89Firebird) with a 2500-2800 stall converter and the rear end has 4:11 posi now. I don't intended to drive the car more than once a week maybe twice.

I was thinking about the HH 280@108 (485lift). Is this a good choice? and would I need new lifters? The ones in the engine were only used to break in the engine and were new. The cam that's in the engine now might have too much lift. Also whats the power range of this cam?

many opinions are welcome. TY

If Bob doesn't reply, call him. You need to change lifters, as they match to cam lobes almost immediately.
