270 rod weight

anyone know the weight of stock 270 rod and or piston?

Trying to find out more about why reputation for failures in bottom end of early Dodge. (see Indy, and happened to me twice on 325) Hemibob says connect the two lifter galleys by copper tube ; the feed to the driver side can steal from one main bearing feed ,. I think he is right. But as part of this wanted to upgrade rods , long story looking around, but honda 1.8890 ends on 6" SBC seem to work from Eagle . have to narrow, custom piston anyway,. But heavy maybe at 630 G . wanted to get idea of issues around balance. Will be adding (neutral) balancer/damper too. Trying to duplicate Going Goat setup in 2017 stuff. .Early 241/270 hemi has no torsional l damper!!! No wonder problems .

I should add that Tom Keister actuaklly suggested the galley tie to me first.

thanks Deeds..same thinking. SBC Eagle rods not bad $ ; just did 392 Stroker with molnar. long story all good. (mopar pin in BBC rod) ; removed bush, mopar pin press fit in rod. Eagle does no make the Light" series with Honda big end; plus it wuill be ground down in width. so will; be less than 630.

I can weigh a 270 rod Tuesday when I get back home. I have already turned a 270 crank to honda size on the rods. I have some Carrillo nascar rods I was going to use but thinking of buying some new Molars and doing what you said above. I built billet main caps, but still need to get align honed. Definitely going to use a balancer.
