55 Chrysler Automatic How do I remove converter


OK !!!!! Now What Do I Do....?????
Got the HEAVY bugger laid over on it's top side, got the
tranny off.....now, to get to the bolts on the end of the crank
that holds on that stupid Torque Converter !!!! Anyone ever
done this ??? Does it take a "SPECIAL" Tool ??? Will be easier if I take off the oil pan ????
To remind you, this is a 331 Chrysler Hemi, that had the
stock automatic behind it.....
ANY and ALL Suggestions or Help Will be much appreciated

It is quite easy with the right wrench.

The converter is attached to the crank flange with 8 nutted studs. Takes a looong wrench to reach the nuts.
