1612344 Mohawk Adapter

I got one of these adapters with my 56 354 and am not sure which transmission this will adapt to. Is it the stock setup for a 56 354 or is it something else?? Thanks

Whoops! My trans is a 55-59 Plymouth cast iron Torque Flite not a powerflite. I read somewhere thay if you use a powerflite bell housing it is a 1/4" deeper and requires the thinner 3/4" adapter? Got to learn to think while typing. To me thats multi-tasking and I'm age impaired! :-)

I am am attempting to adapt a 55-59 push button powerflite ro a 1953 Red Ram 241 but I have been confused by the variety of adapters and numbers and could not find a application reference. They seem to have varying thicknesses abt 7/8" or 1 1/8". your application mentions 54 dodge after #80854? Doea thay mean this will not worK for my applicatione and do you know which adapter number I need? Sure could use some advice as to how I might find out what to shop for?

If it came off a Hemi, hemi based poly, or "A" Poly it would work, but you'd still have a 2 speed powerflite. Truly a shame that the 904 won't work. best off getting a 392 to 727 adaptor even though the 727 is a bit "big" for a 241

Mike is correct. This is the stock Powerflite adapter for 55-56 Chrysler, DeSoto and Dodge and 54 Dodge after engine #80854

It is a stock adapter plate for mounting a Powerfilte bellhousing.
