331 motor temp

I need some wisdom ! just got my 1953 331 running broke in, and fresh oil with zink the motor has apr rod bolts HH 340 timing chain-oil pump front chin cover with big block water pump Iski cam bored 40 tho. block has been milled -and decked and balanced its got a
354 intake 4 barrel with the stat in the front just like the 2 barrel one that came on the motor , with a vintage speed intake with 2 rod chester 2 g carbs it starts great sounds great just a thumping flow masters on it the heads are the round EX ports stock-- why is one head ( the pass side ) run hotter than the drivers side checked with heat gun on header tubs rest of the motor is all good temp --and one muffler has hotter gases coming out than the other side !

-- i got the heater core hose looped around from back pass side intake to the big block water pump port
- its like 20 to 40 degrees ( header tubes ) different per side -- and the exhaust note is louder on the hot side

- now on the 1953 heads the two center exhaust valves share the same port kinda right ? is it the same for both sides Oh its in a 1929 chevy 3w coupe thank you Dave !

The only 4 bl intake with thermostat is the '54 331. Each ex valve has its own port.

wow, you are right. Had never done a finger proctology exam of the middle ex ports. they are connected had a set of heads I have sitting here. Think they connect to the under carb passage. Some have water heating & dome exhaust.
