V belts


I am using the lower alternator and ac mounting brackets (hot heads) I was told what size to get for both. 43×13 mm and 61 1/2 ×15mm. The parts store people look at me like I'm speaking a foreign language when i ask them. Any idea what size? Are these even the right sizes?

Run rope around the pullies & measure it. Not only length is important but width is also. Too narrow will wear rapidly.

Buy a belt of that length and one in each direction in length and return the ones that don't fit.
Maybe run a tape measure around to see if these lengths are close.
Yes, young parts guys these days cant figure this stuff out.
Get out of O'rielys and hit up a NAPA store and find and old grey haired guy to help you with the lengths.
