block casting numbers

can someone help me with what this engine is from ,make ect , its a 354 /60 over low block and has a W cast on the p/side block, and the drivers side has a small number 8 on top of a larger W , also a W cast over the cam shaft area and looks to be a W with a 8 or B along the block edge by piston number 5 near the valley cover edge, best I can see with a camera on a stick. there no clear marking where the engine number should be and I do not see evidence of a plate on the rear drivers side of the block. alloy timing cover top holes are at 11 and 1 o'clock position, chev water pump and water outlets in the head ends. it is a rebuilt engine so heads may have been changed. I was trying not to pull the intake (runners are joined together so cant see through them) as it is running in a hotrod and not scratch the paint. have read where it could be a industrial, truck or a poly , I am new to mopar but trying to get it worked out. thanks crusty

The 11 & 1 1 O'clock bolts are a car block. block casting number is virtually unreadable with intake on. If use code isn't on the flat in front of the valley cover it might be a warranty block. Some blocks, truck blocks, have been found with use code on the front of the block below the drivers side head. One of mine as a few random numbers stamped there.

on another Forum it's been said that they often show up on truck blocks. I have one block with the W & it's a car block though the unassembled 331 had truck heads with it.
