Positive ground

I just noticed that my 55 desoto 291 was set up for a positive ground.
I am putting it in a hot rod and I'm using a new model starter and distributor as well as a negative ground generator from a 55 Cadillac.
Any issues that I am not seeing in running a negative ground?
Things like this tend to sneak up on me and bite me when I am not looking.
Hate to have something weird happen like having it run backwards or something. Be just my luck.

This might help: http://www.how-to-build-hotrods.com/6v-to-12v.html

I changed my 51 Kaiser over to 12v 40 years ago. I wish I had this to read back then.

Good Luck,
Dave
