Headers in an old Ford

I'm putting a 354 and 700R4 into a 1939 Ford. Has anyone used the 60020 full length headers for anything like this? (Ford frames are pretty much the same from 35-48.) The brake master cylinder mounted is mounted under the floor and there's an X-member that crosses behind the transmission tailshaft. I'm worried that the header collectors will be pointing at the master cylinder or an important part of the frame X.

Thanks.
