Among other issues, the S-23 has a rear sump pan that will interfere with the stock tie rod location in those cars. I'd love to hear from anyone who has modified the DeSoto oilpan and pick up and any other issues that caused. If you could find one of these I'm sure it would work for you. Bob at Hot Heads sells modified 340 oil pumps and a pick-up for this pan. So the Melling 392 O/P & center sump pick up should work.
