Hi,

Trying to id an early iron torqueflite. Number stamped on side is 1636235 I, also is 13-55. Any help appreciated.
1952 Plymouth wagon. Morrison chassis, Jr. Thompson 392 (417) hemi, and mystery trans.

Is this the original trans that came with the 392? The case casting number should be the same for all of them. If it is the original, what does the engine number start with... NE or CE or NE3? That will give a clue to the trans.
