Water temperature sending unit

Looking for an alternate location to install a water temperature sending unit.Have a hot heads bbc water pump and crossover setup. I’m running an electric fan setup, which also requires a water temperature sending unit. The bbc water pump has a spot for a sending unit, which I will use to control the electric fans. But don’t know what to do about the sending unit required for the water temperature gauge. Any suggestions? Great site, Bob

If you go to Summit's web site and search for "Water Neck Spacers" you will find quite a few pieces to fit between your crossover kit and the thermostat housing that will give you several more 3/8' pipe ports for your sensor.

What engine do you have? Most original intake manifolds have a spot for the temp sending unit.

My engine is a 392, which has a dry intake manifold, no temp sending unit in the intake manifold
